Key Comments

Mitchell is socially conservative electorate in the Hills district of north-western Sydney. The seat has been held by the Liberals since 1974. The progression and construction of the North-West Rail Link could determine whether the Liberals hold the seat after the upcoming election. Originally semi-rural Mitchell is now more suburban. It is electorate that is building a significant amount of houses/apartments to move in line with the rising population.
